A quick recap of what the Union were up to during this FIFA international window:
Tai Baribo – An unused substitute against Belgium. He was set to start against Italy but suffered an injury in training that ruled him out.
Danley Jean Jacques – Played a full match and scored a goal against Puerto Rico. Started against Sint Maarten but sustained an injury in the 29th minute.
Cavan Sullivan – Featured in all three matches of the Václav Ježek Tournament in the Czech Republic, facing Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. For context, Cavan is just 14 years old and was playing with the U-17 USA team, competing against U-18 players.
Andre Blake – Played full matches against Cuba and Honduras, making five saves across the two games while conceding just one goal. He also received a yellow card in the match against Cuba.
Jesús Bueno – Not on the selected roster against Bolivia, but was an unused substitute for Venezuela's match against Uruguay.
Giovanny Sequera - It is unclear if the U-20 camp that was held alongside the senior side for Venezuela did more than practice with the players.
Dániel Gazdag – Although selected for Hungary’s matches against Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gazdag did not travel due to a muscle injury sustained in the match against the New York Red Bulls.
Philadelphia will head to Inter Miami this Saturday.
Thanks!
