Philadelphia Union Footprint All Over the U.S. Gold Cup Squad
Nate Harriel and Quinn Sullivan now officially part of the tournament
The U.S. Soccer Federation has released its Gold Cup roster ahead of upcoming friendlies against Turkey and Switzerland. The continental tournament will take place in the United States later this year.
Nate Harriel and Quinn Sullivan have rightfully earned their spots, joining a roster that includes several familiar Union connections—Brenden and Paxten Aaronson, Matt Freese, Mark McKenzie, Jack McGlynn, and Brian White(formerly Union Academy).
The Union—and I remain firm on this—have done more for U.S. Soccer through MLS over the past five to ten years than any other club.
The U.S. will compete against Trinidad and Tobago on June 15, Saudi Arabia on June 19, and Haiti on June 22.
Congratulations to all the players.
